OK set the scene, the Claytons were until mid November 2005 a faily of 5, Tim, Thats me the author of this blog, Tina, my long suffering wife (or is it me the long suffering) and our 3 girls- you guessed it Laura Louise and Lucy.
10/11/05 - Well there I was minding my own business on the daily 40 mile drive to the office when Tina phones, waters broken, (over 3 weeks early) so no panic yet so carry onto the office and do half a days work whilst tina carries on as normal gets kids to school and turns out the horses....
nothing for rest of day and after a trip to the docs they confirm baby not coming so booked in to be started the following morning at 7.30am..... Well they start, and nothing happens for 12 whole hrs (except I manage to read a Dan Brown book from cover to cover... not bad that in one day :-) ). finally at 7pm we get some real contractions and after 10 more hrs at approx 4.50am on the 12th Baby Annabel Rosie arrives at a rather cute and loveable 6lbs........
Oh yes can't forget the 11th was Laura's 13th birthday but she got her presents, had her cake and came very very close to having little sister with same birthday... So 4 girls and the mother of all future wedding costs ![]()
So anne comes home the same day and soon settles into family life, even manging to sneak into bed with bigger sister Lucy....
And all goes well and apart from a few hiccups along the way Mummy and Baby look forward to babies first Christmas........
